Let me leave you with a picture I took a while back in mumbai.
This is at a Stand and eat place near the suburban railway station and specialized in “On the go” snacks like “Vada – pav “, samosa etc .
These tables are placed in the courtyard and are shared by people who stand and etc. At a convenient 3′-6″ height and has a granite top making it easy to clean.
The reason why i took the picture where the multiple hooks that are welded at the lower levels so that as you eat your bag can be hung and is not places on the floor (yuck ) or on the table which will occupy valuable eating surface.
